Drink More Water!

When I started on the HCG Diet, one of the first things that I took notice of was the discussion on water intake. The clinic I went to made a compelling presentation on proper hydration, why it is important, and an easy way to do it.

It seems that just about everywhere I look I see references to how much water needs to be consumed daily for “healthy” living. It is almost always described in ounces, liters, or quarts. While this might be helpful for some, it never really made sense to me how much that translated to. How do I split up the water over the day was my biggest issue.

That is where this plan came in. It makes it so simple that I can do it anywhere. I have been doing it for some time now and it has worked so well for me that Drink More Water!

How do I split up the water over the day was my biggest issue.

That is where this plan came in. It makes it so simple that I can do it anywhere. I have been doing it for some time now and it has worked so well for me that I feel I MUST pass it on to everyone who will take the time to read it. It is so simple!

Here it is:

Within the very first hour of waking up drink 4 8 ounce glasses of water. Every time you urinate during the day drink another.

THAT’S IT!!!!

Ok, so what gives? Why am I so enthusiastic about this? Simple really. I have always been told that the soda that I drink is bad for me. That it tends to dehydrate me. That is does bad things to my kidneys. I never really knew how to SUBSTITUTE water for the soda. In the end, I guess I was just plain unwilling to give up soda for water. When I started this water drinking method, I found that I could still have sodas. In fact, I still drink them now. It is a source of caffeine for me that I enjoy. The key for me is that I approach water like I do medicine. It is taken in small doses throughout the day.

My Daily Routine

I wake up, hit the bathroom for the morning visit. I weigh myself right after. I head to the kitchen and drink two glasses of water. Back to the bathroom for a shower and shave. From there to the kitchen for two more glasses and the morning fruit breakfast. Usually I will have another glass or two of water with the fruit. From there, anytime I urinate I drink another glass of water. I can have any coffee or soda I want throughout the day. In fact, I have many still. I might even be in the middle of a glass of soda when I hit the bathroom. I just go in the kitchen and drink down a glass of water immediately after and then go back to my soda.

Now, still drinking the soda I am sure is not what most would call healthy, but it makes me happy. I will tell you that I feel much better. True, I do visit the bathroom a lot, but I feel so much better. And I have to say that I have slept better and I have fewer aches and pains. I am not as hungry. I don’t have food or soda cravings either.

Go and start this tomorrow morning! Wake up and drink 4 glasses of water in that first hour. Every time you urinate, drink another glass of water. Anything else you drink is EXTRA and NOT COUNTED as one of the glasses of water.

DO IT!!!
