Jan 4, 2009, Spammers attacked the forums...I had to shut it down

Hi again.

Well, I am sad. I had to totally delete the entire forums. The forums were over run by spammers and caused too much traffic on the server.

All the activity wound up corrupting the database. The entire forum is gone. None of the information in it is retrievable. It was all deleted in an effort to get out from under the attack of these guys.

anyways, I am starting an opt in email list that I ask you to go and sign up on if you want to see another forums script to be installed.

Your sign up on the email list will show me how much real interest there is and will also allow me to email you when I start a new forum. I will not be sending emails/newsletters on that list.

Hi all! It has been a long and (for many people) hard year. This site has seen growth a I am happy to say a small following.

Being that it is the new year it seems that visits to the site have jumped up a bit. The contact rate has increased significantly and I am getting a lot of the same questions.

In an effort to help people find their answers I wanted to make a blog post answering some of the most common questions I have received.

1. What was my experience like for the diet.- I enjoyed the rapid weight loss I had while on the hcg-diet. I think anyone who is struggling with weight loss should seek a qualified doctor and try the program out under the care of that doctor.

2. I dont see a link to buy hcg on your site. Can I bu hcg from you. Where can I buy hcg online.- I do not sell hcg. I also do not suggest any online sources. While there are some people who do suggest online retailers, I would like to re-enforce my suggestion that you do this under the care of a physician.

3. I am thinking of starting the diet, do I need to buy Kevin's book?- I make a pretty lengthy review of the book. You have many resources here and on a few other sites. To me the cost of K.T.'s book isnt that much...so go for it but it isnt necessary.

Of note, I have seen a commercial site out there that is offering you a "free copy" of the pounds and inches manuscript as long as you sign up for the email list. I dont know the people running the site but the site is pretty much dedicated to selling you a "guide" and does not provide much info at all. Just my opinion here...you can read all of the manuscript here and on a few other sites without signing up for a sales letter...just a thought.

Mar 5, 2008, My first appointment completed...starting tomorrow!

Hi all,

I had my first appointment at a weight loss clinic in San Diego today. I will start tomorrow with a loading day.

The process at this clinic is fairly simple. They require that a blood panel is done and then you come in to see the doctor. He sat with me for a good while and discussed many things with me.

He told me about the history, from his standpoint, of the clinic (a chain in southern California). He told me that he expects the hcg diet they offer to work on 90% of the patients.

I got a folder with many pages of information and was briefed by the doctor on the diet and what to expect. The medical assistants taught me how to do a self injection and then made me to do one on myself to see if I can pull it off correctly.

In all I am pretty happy with my experience with the clinic. I will not reveal the clinic until I have more experience with this program with them.

They only offer the hcg in a 30 day pre-mixed supply. I have to figure a way to keep it refrigerated in all the traveling that I do. That might be difficult...but I really need to lose this weight so I am sure I will find a way.

The cost is about 320 for the 30 day supply. It comes with pretty much everything I need for doing daily injections. Needles, syringes, alcohol pads, etc. Its all there complete with instructions on how to do the diet and the injections.

My starting weight is 239.5 pounds!!! Wow am I a fatty or what! (the height weight standard for my height says I should be 192 or less...so I am 47 pounds over weight as far as the Navy is concerned).
