HCG Diet Forums - A community for rapid weight loss

What is this site really about? Well, I was reading the recent book by Kevin Trudeau about the weight loss cure he was talking about. It is an interesting subject to me that I have heard about before his book came out. I can't really recall where I heard about it, but I know the program Kevin discusses is familiar to me.

I am FAT; OBESE by all accounts. I was not always fat like this. In high school, I was involved in all the sports, wrestling mostly, and as a result had one of the most sculpted bodies at the school. My percentage of body fat was so low that I was actually a subject of experimental methods of measuring body fat. I was pinched with calipers, submerged in water and even hooked up with sensors and electrocuted to measure my body fat! I was well below 10% and the most controversial methods of measurement put me at 4.5% body fat!

Fast forward nearly 20 years and now I am easily 30 pounds overweight. Over-fat really! I have tried many of the ideas. I remember many of my tricks I used when I was wrestling to "make weight" but most of those are associated with losing water weight rather than a healthy lifestyle that naturally kept my weight off.

I am personally very curious about the HCG-diet that seems to be such a big story now that Kevin Trudeau has written a best selling book about it. It is something that I am very seriously considering but I have plenty of skepticism about it. I really don't trust everything that I read. I just cannot make the leap to try the "weight loss cure protocol" without having done enough homework about it first.

That is what leads me to the HCG diet forums website. As I was searching for information about the HCG-diet on the internet, I was disturbed about the limited amount of information there is about it. My goal here is to research more and more about this controversial diet plan and post my findings along with links for you to follow. Most importantly, I would like to open the HCG diet forums to allow for open discussion about the HCG-diet and to grow a community to support those who come behind us when they are searching for help and support.

So considering all the above, I have started the HCG diet forums. In the coming weeks I will be posting all of my findings and soon enough will be opening a forum (having been an active member in other forums, I know the value of moderation in forums and you can count on me to moderate the forums to keep the place civil...this is a controversial subject and I think we all want to hear EVERY side!)
